This morning we were revising half past times. We worked round 11 stations in pairs to revise making half past times in analogue, digital and written format.

Road Traffic Survey 🚌 🚗

This morning we were outside conducting a road traffic survey on Livingstone Street. We wanted to see how much traffic passed the school in the space of 15 minutes. We recorded: 1 bus 🚌 1 aeroplane ✈ 1 motorbike 🏍 47 cars 🚗 17 vans 🚚 42 pedestrians 🚶‍♂️ Who knew that it would be so busy?!

Titanic Afternoon Tea 🍵

To celebrate a wonderful 6 weeks with Miss Francis, we had a Titanic afternoon tea with juice, cakes and crisps. What a lovely afternoon!

Flight - Carroll Diagrams 🐦

Our new topic for the term is flight. Yesterday we were discussing what makes a bird and why birds fly. This afternoon the children were given pictures of birds. Their challenge was to create a Carroll diagram and sort the birds according to their chosen criteria. There was some super team work and communication going on!
